I love photography but unfortunately I don't do it as much as I want to. Especially when using film I want to make sure every shot is thought out so I’ve had this roll for over a year. Have some shots of my 2022 Crosstrek camping solo and at Oheka Castle.

Awesome Piks, you bring back memories of years past when I was spending hours under the glow of the red light.

I wish i had a dark room and developed my own photos. I did that in highschool but sending them out to get developed is more practical sometimes
Cudos to you for helping to keep analog photography alive. Much like vinyl music recordings (LPs) and playback devices, analog film and home darkrooms have been making a comeback. Not as a practicality but as a concerted effort to preserve a hallowed skill and art form, in defiance to AI fauxtography.

What B&W film stock are you using?

Past midnight, I personally love the smell of stop bath, fixer, Ballistol or cordite ... it gets the blood flowing.

Film certainly is not for everyone, I enjoy film but nothing beats a modern camera.

I didn't go digital until the CCD pixels surpassed the resolution of 35mm film. That was probably ten years ago.

And I don't mean an iPhone. You need a selection of proper lenses.

Of course, you can have a luxury digital camera but its bo better than the cheapest option without a good lense

That's what I meant. I probably spent more on lenses than the camera body.
Or go a different direction with analog photography in digital times ... Lomography.

A whole different take on photography, where selfies (narcissist-ies) are problematic.

It's hard to take a selfie with a DSLR... ;)

Can't say I've ever been inclined to try that. I already scare the beejaysus outta myself every morning when I look at myself in my shaving mirror. I don't need, or want, a selfie of the fizzog staring back at me.
