As part of an ongoing enquiry with Subaru regarding out of date maps with my new car, I was told today that these were the versions of the maps that are being shipped with cars for the Australian market. Essentially, we buy BRAND NEW cars and, at best, get maps that are only a year out of date. The maps in my car (bought earlier this month) are two years out of date!

Very poor performance indeed, given that the latest maps I can download (for only $199!) are 2013.Q1. Is it not unreasonable to expect a car made 6 months after the maps were released to have the maps, or did they make too many SD cards for the Aussie market and have to use those up first?
