Changed mine in the older car at 60K. As per the manual. The gap was still right on and they looked like new under a magnifier. I'm thinking of going much longer next time. It's not a fun job, the plugs are hard to access.
Specially, certified garage who races modified Subaru and has a Master Mechanic License for the model said that the 90k spark plus were good for another 30k. Timing was everything.
Fuel and timing never changed. Nor consumption and or average miles per gallon.
