Is this a shot transmission with only 106K miles? She is an automatic 2.0L that stalls after starting off, until you push the accelerator to the floor and the transmission catches up with the engine.

You're describing a vague issue. To separate engine from transmission problems, does the engine startup and idle in Park or Neutral mode (whether engine is cold or hot)? When in D, does the engine idle (warm engine) drop way below 800 rpm? Can you provide maintenance history?

CC is a very minor issue compared to possible cvt issues. With better descriptions, search past threads on year and model for background info on CVTs. This may as simple as a faulty pressure control solenoid or as serious as damaged sheaves and drive chain (the variable pulleys that provides infinite 'gear' ratios. I'm not expert on cvt faults and failures but others have posted their issues. Hopefully, members more knowledgeable will chime in and/or you determine (from previous threads) repairs to the cvt valve body corrects this problem.
