    Camping Gears help...

Hey guys, I am from Canada and looking for a good low profile gas/jerry can and water tank for my roof rack. Most I saw was quite expensive and I also don't want to cheap out material especially the gas can, gas can I can go up $100 at max and the water tank $50 max. Most I found is huge / box not low profile.

I know I can Google but if anyone has any good recommendation or have one.

I don’t think you’ll find (m)any options in that range.

My best recommendation is to get these. The fit in your price range, can put them on their side and they’ll be just fine. The down side is that you’ll also need to get at least the one fuel nozzle

However, you never know if the local shop happens to have any, on any given week, but they have them available for online purchase.

Alternatively, assume the extra height on the roof and get a standard water/gas from Princess Auto for about $50. If you want 2 gas cans and will consider regular ones, Costco always has 2X20L for $36.

My own curiosity led me to amazon; search for “Sixma fuel can” and “HITTIME 10L Gas Can”.

There’s a couple interesting options in that price range and the recommended/related products it also shows has options.

After doing a pretty good search here the states, it appears that decent-good low profile fuel containers do run in the $70.00 and up range.
