So many toys I’m starting to set my sights on but Kody’s fundraiser is still too low to have beer and toys.

I still want my bush bar and lights but I’ve found. A leather trim piece to replace the plastic over the upper dash info screen and I actually found Sparco aluminum pedals for the 18-19’. Not that I need the pedals, mine came with aluminum, but it seems to be sought after by US folks every year.

I shouldn’t complain too much, the wife actually encouraged me to buy a new $$$ acoustic bass guitar this past weekend and she’s taking me to a gun show on Saturday.

Just for fun I reconnected the XV WiFi today, it’s been disabled for several months now.

I don’t remember what it used to tell me but I thought it said something about no updates are available. Today I checked for updates and it said “Your device’s software is up to date”.

Wondering if that’s a sign of changes or if it’s just a new GFY message.

My driver side wiper has a tear, probably from the last time we got snow/ice and I didn’t clean properly before leaving work.

However... for the first time in the history of mankind, it’s not affecting my view whatsoever!

Do you have the three-year warranty in Canada, too?

OMG, the Col is still around (liked yesterday’s post)! Haven’t seen you in a while, hope all is well.

Lol; yup, we have the three year as well but it doesn’t cover wear parts. I think the blade refill is less than $10 so it’s a third of the cost of the blade(s) I would have bought.

In the US, wipers, brakes and clutches are covered for the first three years, 36K. Maybe check before you buy some.

If my time in VA taught me anything, it’s that the US has a very competitive market and things that mean little up here, like a free blade refill, means a lot to American consumers. I wonder if that’s SoA or a dealer thing for you guys.

In Canada, no wear items are covered except for those affected by the failure of something else. For example; if a caliper seized, destroying a brake pad, they’d replace the pad(s). You might have to fight the service department but it would get resolved. I know. A guy who lost that exact argument with a Jeep dealership so he sold his 6 mo old, brand new, Grand Cherokee.

Busy day today. Summerized the snow blower and trailer, two coats of paint on the double garage door, replaced the Infiniti’s power steering return line, washed and polished the Infiniti and Stamford.

They took a beating this winter. I’ve never seen so many new rock chips. I best most of them are from the new Amazon warehouse construction. I know that I’ve had to follow trucks and took a few rocks.

Thankfully, Stamford has partial protective film. The Infiniti doesn’t so I spent time with her to touch up paint and clear coat as well. Stamford’s hood film saved a lot of damages but the film is messed up in a few small spots.

Otherwise, I only got one more, just above the window roof line. I remember taking this one from a dump truck. I also saw that some morons beat my side moulding on the front and rear passenger side and I have the big mystery scrape that’ll buff out. I touched up the roof chip and blackened moulding. I didn’t buff the scrape but will next time. I enjoy washing Stamford. He looks awesome. The Infiniti look awful sexy in polished black, just don’t look in the sun light.
