    Wow why 3 days?

What all are you getting done?

2.5 years ago I put a whole new one in at our old house. AC unit, heater, all new ducting, removal of all old attic insulation, and all new insulation blown in.

Initial replacement 21 years ago had issues uncovered at this installation. At that time all our ducting was in the slab foundation and the furnace was tucked neatly away in a garage closet. Due to rusting all ducts had to be put in the attic along with the furnace. With this week's installation all the duct joints had to be re-sealed and taped. The new furnace took some time to haul up the narrow attic access in sections then assembled. Two guys were on the job. Maybe where you live the workers work at a faster pace.

ADD: The furnace was hung from the roof joists 21 years ago. For the current installation, a platform was put down for the furnace.

You mean you are helping out by transporting a number of items that you thought she would need in Plano as a surprise....

Added my cheapo convex mirrors to the side mirrors. For those wondering if that will affect warranty coverage, I confirmed with my dealer it doesn’t but you should check with yours. They confirmed it via e-mail so I have documentation of mine.

I put both my CT and the wife's Outback in the crowded garage (I hope they behave!). Weatherman is predicting gloom and doom for the next 3 days with high winds, hail, flooding and possible tornadoes.....just all around crappy weather....

Definitely needed, the factory trunk light is a joke. I wired two lights into the removable panels on each side, made it a lot easier and only took 30 min or so, and I can replace the panels for under $40 if I ever decide to go a different route.

I used flushmount bolt LEDs, didn't want anything large sticking out.

Good work, hopefully Subaru learns to make the trunk lighting a little better!
