    Backup camera to multifunction display

I recall reading somewhere that some iteration of the XV somewhere has the backup camera displaying through the 4.3" Multifunction display.

In Canada they offer the backup camera with the top trim package, stating that it utilizes the radio's colour display. I don't have it, but if I were to hobble together a backup system I would wonder if the MFD has that capability.

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks,
    Mark

The mid range to top end models XV in Australia have reverse camera view display on the 4.3" Multifunction display.

Er sorry Minerant but they actually use the 6.1" Sat/Nav system as your pic shows. It is only the base model in AUS that uses the 4.3" MFD unit. I'm not sure anyone here from AUS actually has one.
I think we all went for either the L or S models that came with the above Sat/Nav

I believe the American limited trim has the backup camera displayed on the 4.3" multi display.

Thank you all for this info. I knew that I had read it in passing but couldn't find it.

It might be a good retrofit to try to make.

    In hindsight.
