Subaru floor liners or mats, vs Weathertech or other...

How are the Subaru floor liners? Wondering if I should take their option, or get another type.

Would like to try to keep the floor clean, when I get my new Crosstrek. (haven't ordered yet).

I noticed that on the "Build & Price" online, the floor mats ($80) disappeared, and only the floor liners ($132) seem to be an option.

I assume the floor mats were just the carpet-type mats?

Pass on them. They are sub-par. Get a set of Husky liners ...much nicer and as of today husky is having a 10% off sale.

Not sure why the OEM all-weather floor mats get so much hate. While not quite as much coverage as the Husky or Weathertech, contrary to popular belief my OEM all-weather mats have a lipped wall in just the same way.

The floor mats here are NOT the floor mats in my Subaru: https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_20...501SFL100.html

I remember reading that Subaru changed from the ones above to a floor mat with a lipped wall that climbs up the footwell in November.

The all weather mats I had in my wrx (from subaru) were great!

So, thinking they would be the same, I ordered them with my crosstrek. I was highly disappointed with them.

I ended up getting Weathertech and they have been amazing.

Can you please explain why you were highly disappointed? Just want to know what I'm missing!

They are crap. Nithing more than a slab of rubber that covers a fraction of the carpet. Get the Huskys or weathertech.

This just isn’t true. I’ve owned, and have in other cars both Huskies, and Weathertek. These new Subaru all weathers are every bit as good.
