Direct Injection / maintenance of injectors current/future issues

Given what I have read & watched on YouTube, anyone experience maintenance headaches? I will be a very low mileage user...

    Thanks!

I'm coming up on one year 12k miles and before oil change will use CRC GDI IVD Intake valve cleaner at least three days before. Also want to pick up a borescope to pair with an old Iphone to get baseline pics of the valves. My driving style should be pretty easy on the 'Trek, but from what I can gather, carbon buildup WILL be an issue, sooner or later. I'll be keeping the car long term, so will start to do the valve cleaning thing at least once a year; twice/year if the valves are already dirty. Will go to Amsoil 5W30 for summer.

The guy was saying the issue is appearing in the 40-60k miles range. So I wonder if it's something that you may be able to get Subaru to handle under the powertrain warranty?

Here’s my carbon buildup mitigation plan:
    1) use only top tier gasoline
    2) use high quality oil, still debating between 0w-20 and other options
    3) use PEA-containing fuel injector cleaner every 6K miles before oil change
    4) use CRC intake and turbo cleaner through MAF sensor port every 10K miles.

Probably not as it's not really a 'problem' but a maintenance issue and like all maintenance issues, the dealer will charge for a service to 'fix' it.

Re #3, what product brand do you recommend? And why before the oil change?

Let me add an oil change interval of 3K-4K miles using an oil with a low volatility index (NOACK index). In place of #4, my Subaru dealer recommends taking the car in for an intake cleaning every 30K miles for a cost of $169. I'll be doing that right before an oil change.

This has all been addressed in other threads.

For the first treatment I used Gumout. I can’t remember the exact name. But, it is the one that comes in the same size and shaped can as Sea Foam. I’m not sure if before or after the oil change matters too much on the fuel injector cleaner. This stronger version of Gumout recommends treatment every 6K miles on the can. Pairing it with the oil change leaves me with less intervals to remember.

I've always heard the Chevron Techron was the best injector cleaner. I think one of my past mechanics told me that..
