Plasti dip before I receive my Crosstrek

I did some plasti dipping this weekend before I get my Desert Khaki. Door sills from Amazon and door bowels from eBay.
I am trying to get an dark expresso brown color. Three layers of camo brown then applied two coats of dark cherry and another two coats of just black.

Why so many coats? Plastidip didn't seem to mix like you wanted... Looks black to me.

I'm curious what those door handle bowels look like installed though, I wonder if theyre better than just clear lamin-x?

I never found that doing different layers of plastidip would create different colors. The only way I found it to blend was if using pearls and mixing gallons like they do on . Mind you that I haven't used it much myself, what I'm seeing is mainly online...
Waiting for oil to stabilize to get more job security and then for maybe 2016 TOP Crosstrek Limited with EyeSight.
Reading ahead, researching, preparing for the purchase, dreaming the mods.
