    Army! 'HOO-AH'

Nice ride. Loud rubber. Great hood. Brilliant colour and detail.

    Fine work.

I saw it at the local mall today, so they sold it. It appears that it's been christened, showing signs that it's been offroad.

The dealer said that if they have no problems selling it, that they will be doing more models. Probably one at a time

I asked the dealer how much they would charge to do the same mods on my XV, including labor and parts. They said around $3000. So I'm only guessing, but I would imagine that's what they added to the retail price of that XV.

I'll buy the parts myself, and have the dealer do only the suspension mods, for warranty purposes, which will probably save some money.

I still want to find out more what a 2 inch lift could maybe do to the CV joints.

That is an awesome XV! I really would like to know about your roof light bar. I've been looking around and can't find any to fit my XV. Is it made for the Subaru or did you have to custom fit the light bar to the car? Thanks for any info.

I think, if you really want to off-road you need 3 things: Subbie, Lift ... CV joints. Crosstreks are not unique. Our Forester brothers do this all day long.

    They're talking about doing more.

I'm seriously thinking about having them do mine.

Do you know what wheels and tires those are? Those tires are gnarly!

Supercharger - currently only one I know that is available is from Australia Raptor Superchargers a DIY install, tune $600 extra, $3400-4400 + factor in shipping and freight. No warranty from Subaru and appears to be no warranty for the supercharger.

Lift - is the most practical off road improvement you can make including tire upgrades Subaru XV Crosstrek Lift Kits - Anderson Design & fabrication does it the best. But don't forget skid plates too!
Got any sources for a turbo v. Raptor? Launch control is not what I'm looking for - just 5-6lbs of additional air boost.

SUMO 2" Lift does it the best. (J/K'ing - just needed to counter the Anderson claim).
