2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek: There’s an App for That

Subaru has released an iPad app for its 2013 XV Crosstrek model, which AutoGuide recently reviewed, trying to show off the all-new crossover in a fun and interactive way.

The 2013 XV Crosstrek is being boasted as the most fuel-efficient crossover in America by the Japanese automaker, getting 33 mpg on the highway. It comes standard with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and is powered by a balanced Subaru BOXER engine.

The iPad app features 360-degree exterior and interior views that allow its viewers to experiment with paint colors and interior trims. The app also includes interactive feature demos on the vehicle, videos, and specifications.

“Subaru is excited to launch the all-new 2013 XV Crosstrek and its interactive, eco-friendly iPad app. The Subaru XV Crosstrek iPad app gives consumers multiple, convenient ways to learn more about our newest crossover,” said Sondra Shiffer, publications and merchandising manager for Subaru of America, Inc.

They should of also made this for iPhones, number of people that own iPhones is far more than iPad owners.

They should make an app that lets my iphone act as a smart key. I'm already getting tired of having to find this pokey key to start the vehicle. There are smart keys for $19k cars and folding keys available for a few other cars too (VW). . . Please make an app for this so that I don't have to fumble with this un-illuminated key - Keep hitting the panic button in the dark. Irritating.
