XV could get A lot better.

I like my XV. I would love my XV if:
    1. The displays matched. At night time these three mismatched displays look unbalanced and as if Suabaru used spare parts left over from other production runs from 1988, 1994 and 2008. Theres one between the gauges that looks like the original gameboy that lacks a temp gauge and dedicates 40% of it's lower portion to telling you how much fuel you have left and where the fuel door is. Why not put a fuel door on both sides of the car?
    2. Add a temp gauge....yes it is that important. During cold starts my blue temp light illuminates and stays illuminated for a very long time. Why didn't they offer this car with a remote start? The car can get warm before I need to launch.
    3. Offer the XV with a remote start.

I had gotten to 13 things to improve on but this forum kicked me off saying I was taking too long ----- Excellent autosave that doesn't work well.

    Yes, it's still a CUV.

My understanding is that the reviewer is trying to say the XV looks and drives more car like, and less SUV like. So, if you didn't know it was a CUV, you'd think that the XV was just another car type vehicle.

This is a big plus, for people who don't want to drive a rectangle box shape like SUV, like a Forester, CX5, Tiguan, etc.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I agree with one of the other posters... its good that the review was done for the car itself, and not a comparison with others. I don't agree with his comment about the XV not being a CUV - a crossover is halfway between a car and an SUV, and the XV fits that definition correctly. Put another way, it handles like a sporty car but has off-road capability and room to carry your sports equipment.

I like the video review but the written review is kind of confusing. Things that are stated lead up to a certain conclusion but what's stated is usually the opposite of the conclusion to back. Some things that are stated are just that stated with no back up or reasoning. It would say something like, "it's more of a hatchback than crossover" and that would get my attention and I would read on expecting some sort of reasoning but never find it.

I don't know. But thanks for it anyway.
